NYC Water Trail Map

BLUE icons represent officially recognized Water Trail launch sites. YELLOW icons are landings suitable for rest stops or emergency haulout; access from or to the upland is generally not permitted at these sites, and they are not officially part of the Water Trail.

Use of Water Trail launches in NYC parks requires a $15 permit (click here for more info). Regulations at non-NYC Parks launches vary; please check with the site manager before paddling.

WARNING AND REMINDER: New York Harbor is a challenging place for human-powered boaters, with powerful tides and currents, fast-moving commercial traffic, and many other navigational hazards. If you are not an experienced harbor boater, seek out paddling partners who are, or sign up for training with a community boathouse or professional guide.
